Wilma Gandoy, the Consul for Protection and Legal Affairs from the Mexican Consulate in San Francisco was the guest speaker at the March 12th Human Trafficking Initiative (HTI) meeting. Ms. Gandoy spoke about the work of her department and, specifically, Mexican citizens who are victims of human trafficking. It was a very informative presentation on the prevalence of trafficking both within Mexico, and among Mexican citizens in the United States. Ms. Adriana Flores, also from the Protection and Legal Affairs department spoke as well.  We thank Ms. Gandoy and Ms. Flores for their presentation.
